Why Did We Write This Course?
This FIT course will guide you through strengthening your core from a rehabilitative perspective. Each workout focuses on improving the health of your low back through injury prevention, reducing stiffness, and improving postural strength. Let’s prevent those low back tweaks and injuries once and for all. Follow along with Coach Josie and Coach Marcus as they take you through weekly video guided workouts. Ensuring you feel both confident in performing each exercise and applying key movement cues to life. Lastly- improving blood flow! Which is an important aspect of improving low back health and reducing pain/stiffness. Each workout has a cardiovascular session- focused on improving both blood flow and your overall cardiovascular endurance. Join us for the perfect blend of fitness and physio for low back health.

Where: Home Gym or Fitness Centre.

What: Mat, resistance bands, and ideally a piece of cardio equipment.

Frequency: Choose up to 3 workouts per week.

Workout Duration: Customize! Anywhere from 30-50 minutes in length.

What Else Can I Expect With This Course?
- Physio-Fitness Blend: Re-engaging, re-learning, and re-focusing. Each workout has a collaborative approach of physiotherapy guided exercises with specific cardiovascular training. Leading to a beneficial blend of education on pain reduction, injury prevention, and cardiovascular cueing.
- Workout Video Demonstrations: Join Coach Josie and Coach Marcus as together they demonstrate each exercise, alternate exercise options, and specific cueing to ensure you feel confident with the workout ahead.
- Equipment: This 8-week program can be done with minimal equipment. Just a mat and resistance band are needed! A piece of cardio equipment is recommended for the cardiovascular portion of the workout but is not necessary for you to partake in the program.
- Weekly Workouts: : 3 workouts/week - focusing on spine and hip flexibility, core strength, and cardiovascular endurance. Each workout can range from 15-30 minutes in length. Customizing to fit the needs of your day and fitness priorities.
- Strategically Progressive! A specific planned laid out so you are safely and effectively challenged. Increasing the strength of your core and cardiovascular endurance one workout and week at a time.
- Education: Knowledge is power. Follow along videos of each workout will support you in feeling confident that you are performing each exercise properly.
